In a five-stringed viol, with the upper and lower plates both arched, and with yellow varnish, was the printed label: ” Par Claude Touly a Luneville 1752.”

Vielleicht ein Sohn oder Bruder von Jean T. Er bevorzugte eine hohe Wölbung und gelben Lack und machte sowohl Geigen als Lauten. Eine fünfsaitige Bratsche befindet sich aus der Snoeck’schen Sammlung in Berlin, eine Laute im Conservatorium in Brüssel. Ausser seinem Zettel verwendete er auch eine Brandmarke.
