A maker in Paris, living in rue des Vieux-Augustins, 1788-89. Is said to have copied the work of Guadagnini, both in pattern and varnish, with great skill. He branded his name on his instruments. Label: ” Luthier, rue des Vieux-Augustins, pres de l’egout de la rue Montmartre, Paris.”

Vermuthlich besass er eine Geige von Guadagnini, die er sowohl im Modell als im Lack nachzuahmen sich bemühte. Seine Arbeiten sind gute Durchschnittswaaren; am besten waren noch seine Harfen. Er besass auch eine Brandmarke mil seinem Namen. Auf anderen Zetteln ist auch »Paris« angegeben.
