WIDHALM, Gallus Ignatius Born 1752, died 1822 Nuremberg Germany. Second son, pupil, and assistant of Leopold Widhalm, below. Generally praised by most experts, but no instruments are known with his personal label, since he worked either for his father or elder brother, both using the Leopold Widhalm label. Vannes mentions Guadagnini-like cellos.
