Johann Adam Born 1707, died 1763. Son of Johann Schönfelder, above. Master of the violin makers guild from 1729. Considered the best maker of his family. Stainer model with golden-brown varnish. Willibald Leo Lütgendorff+

Sohn von Johann Sch. Er wird als Geigenmacher und seit 1729 als Bürger bezeichnet. Seine Arbeit ist recht gut, ebenso das Holz, der Lack gelbbraun oder rothbraun. Auch er gab wiederholt »Tirol« als Ursprungsland seiner Geigen an, obwohl sie nichts weniger als tirolisch aussehen. Eine gute Geige von ihm aus dem Jahre 1752 besitzt das Gothenburger Museum.
