In Valdrighi’s Nomocheliurgografia wird er unter No. 204 mit der Jahreszahl
1766 angeführt In der Berliner kgl. Sammlung alter Musikinstrumente
befindet sich ein zur Lira in gamba hergerichtetes, altes Streichinstrument
(No. 820) mit der Jahreszahl 1566, die offenbar unrichtig ist. Nach dem Zettel
ist anzunehmen, dass Baraldi ein Dominikanermönch war. Seine Arbeit ist roh, ob die hässlichen F-Löcher ihm zuzuschreiben sind, oder
schon gewesen sind, will ich nicht entscheiden.
