Im Augsburger Meisterregister von 1615 wird er als Lautenmacher, 54 Jahre
alt, angeführt. erwähnt wird er ferner im Meisterregister von 1619 und im
Steuerbuche von 1625. Er war vielleicht der Vater Jacob Bossart’s, der sich
jedoch Bosshart schrieb.
