CORAIN, (CORRAIN) Vincenzo Born 1795, died 1866 Trieste Italy. Violin maker and bassoonist at the Teatro Grande, Trieste. Violins and double basses with distinctive scroll, the fluting sunk to a deep ‘V’ shape at the centre line, which is not raised to the level of the edges as is usual.
