Wahrscheinlich ein eingewanderter Franzose, wofür schon seine Arbeit spricht. Seine Geigen schliessen sich an italienische Vorbilder an, er schnitzte hübsche Köpfchen
(Löwen, Engel etc.) am Wirbelkasten und machte auch Mandolinen. Eine Nonnengeige von ihm besitzt das Conservatorium in Brüssel (No. 427).
