Von diesem sonst nicht bekannten Geigenmacher besitzt die Stiftskirche in
Laufen eine gute Violine. Boden und Zargen von schon geflammtem Ahornholz,
die Schnecke gut gestochen, die Umrisse elegant und der Lack von schöner, gelbbrauner Farbe. Auf der Mitte des Bodens ist ein altes Siegel eines früheren Besitzers angebracht.
