Established in Prague from 1669. After his death his widow married T. Edlinger, who became his successor. Fine lute preserved at Munich Museum with inscription: ‘Leonhardi Pradter in Prag. 1689’. PRADTER, Linhart (Leonhardt) Born 1654, died 1692 Prague Czech Republic. Established in Prague from 1669. After his death his widow married T. Edlinger, who became his successor. Fine lute preserved at Munich Museum with inscription: ‘Leonhardi Pradter in Prag. 1689’. Willibald Leo Lütgendorff+
Er stammte aus Tyrol, wahrscheinlich aus Vils, wurde 1675 Bürger zu Prag (Kleinseite), heirathete im selben Jahre die 1654 geborene Tochter Anna Barbara des Geigenmachers Andr. Ott und erlangte am 21. Nov. 1675 das Bürgerrecht. In den Urkunden wird sein Name meist Brater geschrieben. auch Broder, Prodter; selbst Prantner (Brantner) kommt vor; er schrieb den Namen »Pradter«. Er war ein vielbeschäftigter Meister, der u. A. von 1682—1684 eine ganze Reihe von Instrumenten für den Chor der Prager Lorettokirche
