KOK, Gerrit Born 1828, died 1899 Amsterdam Netherlands. With his brother Johan Kok, above, trained with Bernardel and possibly Grandjon in Amsterdam before establishing Gebr. (‘brothers’) Kok 1848. After Johan’s death 1889, Gerrit continued the business with the aid of Johannes Peereboom. After Gerrit’s death, his widow kept the shop along with Peereboom and her son-in-law Paul Kunze.
