PADUCH, Eduard Born 1876 Poland, Worked circa. 1906 Budapest Hungary. Pupil of P. Pilat in Budapest and A. Diehl in Hamburg. Established independently in Budapest. Very fine and accurate work on Stradivari model. Shaded varnish in Vuillaume style. Benedek illustrates a beautiful example with a classical figure with vine laurel carved in low relief on the back. Signed internally: ‘Gebaut/ Eduard Paduch / 1912 Budapest.’ Printed label: Eduard Paduch / Budapest 1906. [Benedek]
