A maker in Schoenbach, Bohemia, about 1740-80. He is best known for the good violins that he made.

Er heirathete am 12. Oct. 1765 und ist wahrscheinlich der Begründer des
Rufs seiner Familie. Er wohnte Haus No. 18 und war sehr fleissig. Geigen
von ihm kommen nicht gerade selten vor; sie haben kein besonders schönes
Modell, sind sonst aber gut gemacht und klingen nicht schlecht. Seine Zettel sind mit deutschen Buchstaben gedruckt und am Rand verziert.
