Violins, violas, and cellos largely produced by Theophil. Very clean professional work in the French manner on Stradivari model with full low arching and golden red-brown varnish. Willibald Leo Lütgendorff+
Sohn und Schüler von Bernh. Schw., dessen Geschäft er mit seinem Bruder übernahm und fortsetzte. Er hat an 100 Violinen und etwa 30 Violoncelli gemacht, unter denen recht gut klingende sich befinden. Auch als Händler mit alten Geigen hatte er Bedeutung. Die Brüder bedienten sich anfangs der gleichen Zettel, wie ihr Vater.
